[ Prosecution Service ]

  • Successfully prosecuted various corruption cases associated large-scale companies.

  • Investigated many corporation crimes including embezzlement and insider-trading cases.

  • Efficiently defended criminal trial cases in the Supreme court and high courts against appeals of defendants represented by prominent Korean law firms.

  • Supervised prosecutorial decisions related to human rights protection in criminal procedure.

[ National Attorney’s Activities ]

  • Participated in negotiations for FTAs between ROK and US/EU/ASEAN/CANADA

  • Provided advisory service for ROK’s Ministry of Science on the agreement between ROK and RUSSIA on ‘Technology Safeguards in the field of the Exploration and Use of Outer Space’.

  • Joined the ROK delegation to the Security Council and General Assembly in the UN.

  • Contributed to establish prosecutorial standards for the perfomances of the Korean Prosecution Service regarding enhancement of victims’ rights.
